The secret behind the new original KNOTT comfort axle lies in its special design and a “cool” idea.
The four rubber elements are cooled to approximately –100 °C during production. This causes them to contract so they can be gently pushed into the gap between the axle tube and the inner member. Correct fit means improved suspension, and the over-hub dimension of the axle can also be adjusted more precisely.
Four, not three, rubber elements surround the inner member of the original KNOTT axle to provide greater pulling stability. Instead of crushing the tire, the inner element gently stretches it thanks to its unique shape: for a long service life and a significantly more comfortable ride.
Why are four rubbers recommended?
